World Rally ChampionshipThe WRC (World Rally Championship) is a rally series organized and regulated by the International Automobile Federation (FIA). It’s an international racing championship organized since 1973 consisting of thirteen 3-day events featuring races on gravel, mud, ice, and snow. The drivers and team’s championship are separated but based on the same point system. The rally is held on closed roads split into more than 20 segments run against the clock.

In general, the World Rally Championship cars are built on 1.6-liter 4-cylinder motors with anti-lag systems, turbochargers, aerodynamic parts and various other enhancements. The regular price of a WRC car is somewhere around $1 million.

The 2018 World Rally Championship is the 46th edition of the tournament. It started in January and will end in November (with the Rally Australia), with the top driver being named the champion. There’s also a championship for Co-drivers and Manufacturers.

The defending champion in the Drivers and Co-drivers championship are Sebastian Ogier and Julien Ingrassia. They won their fifth title last year and are heavy favorites for the title again. However, after 7 rounds, Thierry Neuville and Nicolas Gilsoul are the leading drivers, with their team Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT holding a lead over Ogier and Ingrassia’s M-Sport Ford WRT.

We’re currently halfway through the seasons and the battle between Ogier and Neuville will certainly be something to watch.

Redbet offers Outright Winner odds for the 2018 World Rally Championship. Current leader Thierry Neuville is the heavy favorite, being given odds of 20/31. Last year’s champion Sebastian Ogier is right behind him with odds of 21/20, followed by Estonian Ott Tanak and Finnish driver Esapekka Lappi with odds of 15/1 and 24/1 respectively.

The odds take a huge dip after Lappi – Andreas Mikkelsen is surely not the favorite with odds of 65/1, just like Kris Meeke with odds of 79/1. The unlikeliest champion WRC champion this year is Khalid Al Qassimi with odds of 975/1.

Although Neuville’s odds are not enticing considering his role as a favorite, Ogier’s certainly are. If you’re planning on placing a bet on the Outright Winner for this year’s WRC, choose carefully.

Neuville is again the heavy favorite with odds of 8/15, with Ogier following him at second place with odds of 11/10. Ott is the third favorite for the title with odds of 16/1, with Esapekka behind him with odds of 28/1.

If you’re feeling lucky, you can place a bet on total outsiders Hayden Paddon and Elfyn Evans, both with odds of 500/1 and get a load of money in return. If you’d like to play it safe, however, Ogier looks like a nice bet.

10Bet10Bet is an older bookmaker who takes great care of newcomers and their most loyal punters. They offer a huge 50% first deposit welcome bonus (up to £100) and have a wide range of sports and sporting markets you can bet on. Of course, 10Bet’s offer includes the WRC Outright Winner market.

Unsurprisingly, this bookie has Thierry Neuville as the main favorite for this year’s WRC title, giving him odds of 20/31. Sebastian Ogier is safe on the second spot with odds of 21/20, followed by Ott Tanak with odds of 15/1 and Esapekka Lappi with odds of 24/1.

The other players aren’t being given great chances for the title – the legendary Sebastian Loeb is being given odds of 195/1, while Stephane Lefebvre and Khalid Al Qassimi are the unlikeliest champions with odds of 975/1.

If you’d like to gamble a bit and consider Neuville’s odds unappealing, you can double your money by betting on Ogier. There’s still a long way to go until the end of the championship, so there’s no telling what could happen. Neuville may be in the lead now, but Ogier has 5 titles behind him which certainly speaks of his resume.

The bookmaker excels in its sportsbook deals, offering a variety of sports and markets you can try your hand in. When it comes to the 2018 World Rally Championship, Fun88 offers no surprises. Just like the other bookies, they favor Thierry Neuville for the title, giving him odds of 20/31. Current champion Ogier is right behind Neuville with enticing odds of 21/20 and is followed by Tanak and Lappi with odds of 15/1 and 24/1 respectively.

Nine-time WRC champion Sebastian Loeb is faring worse with odds of 195/1, just like 2012 WRC Super 2000 champion Craig Breen. The odds for Neuville are not great, but if you plan on betting on Ogier or even Tanak, you should get a fair amount of money in return.

SportPesaSportPesa is a very popular British bookmaker that offers enticing odds and a huge variety of sporting markets you can place your bets on. There’s football, basketball, boxing, tennis and other sports on the list including Formula 1 racing and WRC. If you’re new to the site, we strongly recommend checking out SportPesa’s promotions tab, offering great specials that will certainly catch your attention.

For the 2018 WRC, SportPesa has Neuville as the favorite with odds of 20/31. Ogier is again on the second spot with odds of 21/20, followed by the Tanak (15/1), Lappi (24/1) and outsiders Mikkelsen (65/1) and Meeke (79/1). Sebastian Loeb, one of the icons of WRC doesn’t fare much better with odds of 195/1.

When it comes to complete outsiders, Al Qassimi and Lefebvre are at the bottom of the list of favorites, being given odds of 975/1.

Betting on Neuville at odds of 20/31 is not that exciting – place a bet on him and you won’t get a substantial amount of money in return. However, placing your bet on Ogier, Tanak or even Lappi who aren’t without chances can easily fill your pockets even if you don’t place a big bet.
