LV BET Sportsbook Review

LV BET were launched at the very end of 2016 and in a few short months they have made quite a name for themselves. They have had some time to become established but they can still be referred to as a new bookmaker and in a crowded industry they are doing plenty to try to stand out.

Sponsor deals in the world of sport have increased their brand awareness but what are they offering to us – the average sports betting customers?

First Impressions

When you first land on the LV betting site you’ll notice that it contains a lot of striking graphics. It’s a bold and colourful design and it certainly stands out but while it may be pleasing on the eye, how does the portal rank in terms of functionality?

This isn’t the classic lay out that we all expect: The list of sports is laid down in a block and then you click on your choice so we don’t get to see the current events that are coming up on that specific day. That doesn’t mean that it’s confusing; it is quite a functional site but it’s not typical of what we are used to from across the sportsbooks.

Anyone signing up for a new account at LV BET can claim a match on their first deposit. The plus point is that the upper limit is a very generous £100.00 but it is only a 10% match so players would have to credit a high sum in order to trigger that.

It does, however, have a low entry point of £10.00 so if you want a small outlay then this could be perfect. Check all terms and conditions and note specifically that the bonus must be used on a multiple bet where the odds for each leg must be set at 1/4 or longer.

This is a fairly quiet place in terms of ongoing deals but they do appear from time to time and these might drop in at major football tournaments. This is certainly a bookmaker that likes to focus on football and the regular promos will tend to come along during the European seasons.

Markets and Odds

The set of sporting markets at LV BET have a clear mainland European feel to them. The company sponsors volleyball and that gives a clue as to what you can expect but the following list should contain something for everyone to enjoy.

FootballGolfTennisBasketballIce HockeyVolleyballBaseballHandballAmerican FootballMMABoxingFormula OneSpeedwaySnookerBiathlonDartsRugby LeagueRugby UnionAussie Rules FootballWinter SportsCyclingCricketBadmintonChessFloorballFutsalMotorsportsNetballPesapalloOlympic GamesSurfingSquashTable TennisWater PoloPool

That’s a seriously good set of options and it’s one that will be hard to match anywhere else on the web. In addition, eSports get big coverage here and they are listed by tournament. Novelty bets are here and these can be used around political and entertainment markets.

We aren’t expecting LV BET to appear on any of the main odds comparison sites just yet but having looked at a sample of options, their prices look strong, particularly in football which is a key area for them.

LV BET opened in 2016 and their license is currently held in Malta. For a new bookmaker to gain some trust, it does help to be open and honest about their licensing arrangements and happily this is explained in full at the bottom of the operator’s home page.

If you want to find out more, you can click on the About Us page and this will bring up lots of further information about the company so this is a very positive area of their business.

Click on the payments section at the bottom of LV BET’s home page and this will give you a list of all the methods that they accept, together with any minimum and maximum limits. Skrill and Neteller are here and those two eWallet providers are joined by PaySafe, Zimpler, Trustly, Sporopay, Euteller and iDeal.

You can also use all the major debit and credit cards to access your account and it’s good to see that all transactions are free of fees.

Social Media

We know that by harnessing the power of social media, a new bookmaker can get a lot of early custom by providing engaging content and listing offers that encourage people to sign up. At LV BET, a Twitter account was started in May 2016 but it’s not been very active with an average of around three updates a day being made in that time.

Over on Facebook, the pages are a little more active and the English speaking version has over 1200 likes as of July 2017. Things are therefore better but once again it could be busier and the operator could concentrate more on this as a way of attracting new customers.

LV BET have got most things right as they start out on their sportsbook journey and the positives include that welcome offer which is very competitive with its £100.00 limit. The 10% match means that you have to credit more than you might do elsewhere but you can trigger this from as little as £10.00.

There are good prices, plus an excellent choice of customer service and banking options. As we’ve seen, the social media side could get some attention but if you find LV BET without it, there’s every good reason to look at a sign up.
