Unlike a number of similar bookmakers who launched in 2016, BetSer have ticked most boxes required when it comes to competing against their rivals. There’s a strong welcome offer with a choice of promos and a loyalty programme to back it up while there is choice and general value for money here too.
Currently, they are not available in the UK but if you can access Betser, here’s what you can expect.
It may not be the most attractive site with a bare white background but the important thing about BetSer’s portal is its ease of navigation. The text stands out against that background and everything is in a logical order and easy to find as a result.
Overall, it’s a bit of a mix as it really is quite dull to look at and maybe won’t entice new players in but we certainly can’t fault the site for its functionality.
There are two levels of welcome offer here, depending on where in the world you are located. For those residents of Sweden, Germany, Finland and Norway it can extend to 100 Euros but elsewhere it drops to 25 Euros as long as you aren’t living in a restricted country.
It’s a low entry promo with fair terms and a good way to start things off but from here, things get really interesting. BetSer list a loyalty programme which rewards you for free bets and the rewards get higher depending on the odds that you take. In addition, there is an Acca Insurance, a ‘Bore Draw Breaker’ for football markets and a league table for customers so overall, this is a huge plus and one of the best sets of welcome offers we’ve ever seen from a new bookie.
Markets and Odds
Only the most obscure of niche events are excluded from the following list.
A good choice of specials and eSports are there too so all options are covered essentially, and there is choice for occasional and serious punters.
As we know, one potential drawback for new bookmakers is their absence from odds comparison sites but we’ve found good prices in most markets, particularly core areas such as football and tennis.
BetSer are licensed in Malta and full details of this licence are shown on the home page together with further information as to how the company came into creation. You can find more information on the About Us link where the company go into great detail and while this is something that few of us ever read, it’s important to build trust by being open about the legal side of things so this is a real positive.
This area is a little restricted with just Trustly joining Skrill and Neteller on the eWallet list so at least the main operators are there. Debit and Credit cards are also available so unless you’re using one of the more obscure funding methods, there is an easy way to access BetSer.
In a short space of time, BetSer have just acquired over 100 followers on their Facebook page. It’s an entertaining one with lots of videos and it’s regularly updated too but perhaps more news and offers could be included.
We also searched for a Twitter account but couldn’t find anything and with social media attracting so much interest from the gaming community, these are areas where BetSer could look to build in the coming months.
The real standout feature of this bookmaker is the promotions page which, for a new bookie, is seriously impressive. Even if you can only access the lower welcome offer of 25 Euros, it’s quick and easy to do so but from that point, things really improve with that excellent loyalty programme and a couple of generous, regular promos.
There are few areas that really need any work, although perhaps the design of the site could be more attractive and the banking options expanded but for those who are selective when it comes to new operators, this should be one of the first to add to their list.
- The higher level welcome offer of 100 Euros may be restrictive in terms of qualifying countries but the lower tier of 25 Euros is still easy to claim.
- Betser really score on their ongoing promos and in particular, an interesting loyalty programme which allocates points depending on the size of your stake.
- Choice of markets is good, with only the most obscure options excluded and odds are strong in most areas.
- As of December 2016, BetSer was not available in the United Kingdom
